Not exactly Mayorga when it comes to talking ****, is he?
It's no wonder Devon Alexander lets his trainer/manager do all the trash talking for him. Can he honestly, with a straight face, call himself "The Great" ? What a joke.

This is Devon's way of trying to get back into the mix of things by using Paulie's name. Paulie isn't a great fighter (will always be B at the very best but that's really pushing it a little bit) but at least he's on a comeback trail. Devon lost his last two fights - he doesn't even deserve a shot at Paulie and that's saying something.

If overrated had a face in the dictionary, it would be Devon Alexander. Nice kid, good skills, but absolutely not what people thought he was. He blatantly lost to Matthysse and Kotelnik, those decisions were unreal. It is why he only fights in St. Louis, so his opponents can be robbed. All he does is shoe-shine and grunt hard so it looks like he is doing something. He has lost his last 3 fights in my eyes...period. Actually, I think Paulie will beat him to be honest. Paulie is more skilled and faster, sure he can't hit but still will get a UD. It is not in St. Louis so Alexander won't be winning that one.

Devon's resume is second to none. 12th pro fight UD over former champ chop chop corley, the same corley that gave maidana fits. 18th fight stops former wbc champion witter to win wbc jww title. The same witter that made judah and bradley look average. 19th fight WBC/IBF Unification against ibf champ urango, wins by 8rd KO.The same urango that KO'd randall bailey and chased berto for 12 rounds. Most fighters would have taken a soft opponent after a unification, not devon. Devon's soft touch was kotelnik, the same kotelnik that beat maidana. From kotelnik,to bradley the #1 guy in the division. From bradley to mathysse who has the highest KO % in the division. Only 24 years old, STOP HATING.

Malignaggi doesn't have a shot in hell at beating Devon Alexander. That much I know.

                    What, for lunch?

I could see Paulie beating him in NYC. Alexanders mentally weak and as Guru put it (r.i.p) "New York City ain't the place to be frontin."
