Who Has the Better Chance of Pulling Off the Upset?

JMM or Ortiz? Personally I think they both have about equal chance.

JMM will always have the style to make Pac work, he's given him a tougher fight and is a better all around boxer then any of Pac's opponents at ww and beyond, but if he's slowed down even a little bit it's going to be tough.

Ortiz is probably the most live opponent Mayweather has faced in some time. He's fast, a souhpaw, and has power(something haters always say is Mayweather's weakness, except of course when they talk about Ortiz). His boxing ability is lacking but he will come to fight and if nothing else will test both Mayweather's chin and legs after such a long layoff.

    Discuss, poll coming.

Edit: If you feel neither or both have equal chance just post and explain why.

Ortiz due to his youth and the fact that he is going up against the inferior fighter.

Marquez is going up against what most consider the greatest fighter of all time in his current beast era. Marquez has the better skillset out of the two but he is going up against the far more superior opponent.

Did Mayweather screw your girlfriend? Dude, your logic is so warped I wonder what your personal beef is with Floyd. The guy in your avatar even considers Floyd to be superior to Pac.

What one also has to consider is, just as Mayweather has been inactive, Pacquiao has been fighting fighter who stand up, straight forward fighters lately, other then Mosley who was so shot all he could do was get out of the way. Pacquiao & Mayweather better not be expecting an easy night, or they will be in for a rude awakening.

It may sound crazy, but I think there's a better chance Pacquiao takes Marquez lightly and struggles then Mayweather is threatened by Ortiz.

                Juan Manual Marquez.

A true great fighter, has put on the weight slowly and will not be considerably outweighed on fight night.

Is on top of his game vastly experience and knows Pacquiao's game.

A great warrior solid chin, great powers of recovery, one of the best combination punchers and great counter punching, not afraid to trade and has great timing.

Will not be the flabby, slow Marquez last time he fought at this weight when he jumped 3 weights in about a year.

ortiz is a no hoper. never understood what people see in him. sure he has those certain attributes, but floyd has faced boxers like him before, and dismantled them in the ring.
marquez has fought pac before, so he knows what he needs to do. if anyone i'd give him a small chance to win.
