Victor does have some quiet menace about him. When you look at his eyes during the Gayweather faceoff, he looked very intense. It was not just acting. He was genuinely pissed off by the bad rap he got after the Maidana fight and the crap the Garcias talked about him. I bet Rios either wasn't very quiet and gentlemanly at the time. But I still believe Victor is a nice kid deep inside, he just had a really rough childhood. You are bound to be a little quiet and easy to anger.
