What If Manny & Floyd Lose this year?

Do you guy's think it would hurt the sport or make it better if Manny and Floyd lost there next fights? I personally think it would make it better due to Ortiz being a instant star and JMM getting his much deserved win, also that would make for better fights in the future such as Ortiz Vs Khan or Khan Vs Manny ect. Cause really right now there really only 1 fight ppl really wanna c an that Floyd Vs Manny. whats yall thoughts?

The boxing world will no longer be under the choke-hold that is Floyd vs Manny lol. There will be more match possibilities instead of hoping for just one specific super-fight.

If one of them lose then the fight wouldn't mean **** anymore. That's why people who say that Floyd is building up the fight by just letting it brew are ******s. Floyd wants nothing to do with PAC...at least up to this moment. If he did want the fight, trust me there's no way he was going to let PAC step in the ring with Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. A simple lose would scrap the whole fight.

Huh? Pac wasn't in danger of losing to anyone promoted by top rank. cmon be reasonable.

If you seriously believe that then you need to get your head check. Tyson wasn't in any danger to lose to Douglas, Dela Hoya wasn't in any danger to lose to Pacquiao, Barerra wasn't in any danger to lose to Pacquiao.....

Its called a calculated risk with positive expectation. Its what we in Vegas refer to as a smart bet...

Those were fights between fighters not promoted by the same company. I think we can agree they are different situations.

Top Rank wasn't going to put manny in with someone who could beat him at this stage. Doesn't mean manny isn't great.

Pac has had it happen before....so it would be more devastating to Floyd. Their fight would have lost it's golden luster, if it happens.
