    Schaefer is so confident in Ortiz he is already planning Khan vs Mayweather.

      I saw Floyd at the fight, so what? I've seen Floyd years ago at one of Pac's fights, was he scouting him then also? Ortiz and Shaefer have said in interviews for this fight that Ortiz is the one who asked for it. If you don't believe it then ok, i'll believe the guys actually involved with making the fight happen.

        @MARK,

        Been saying it since the fight was made.

        Floyd's inactivity if it takes toll will spell doom for him, and if Ortiz can capitalize on it when that happens, then there goes the cookie Jar for Floyd.

        Tho I don't agree with you that Ortiz beats Pac as well.

            he has a small possibility of giving floyd problems, but manny? he gets completely wrecked by pacquiao, no chance whatsoever

                Big fan of both fighters so I guess I can remain neutral and I also think Ortiz is a very live dog. But of course you have to favor Floyd, and rightfully so, even with inactivity and his age. I think we should all watch the first 5 or 6 hours on the edge of our seats because those will be very tense rounds and will dictate the rest of the fight. Will Floyd have another grand performance and leave Ortiz in the dust, or is Ortiz in the fight and making Floyd question himself for the first time since the Castillo fight?

                  I don't understand why people are saying Floyd has been inactive. Compared to other fighters I guess he's inactive but lots of fighters go a year without fighting and aren't considered inactive. Floyd hasn't been gone THAT long.

                  Hopefully anyone that is saying Ortiz will win because he's "young and hungry" which is basically admitting that they cannot actually see a way Ortiz will win, will give Mayweather credit and not talk about how young and overrated Ortiz was.

                    People on this board confuse inactivity with not working out. Floyd doesn't seem to blow up in weight and doesn't abuse his body with drugs or alcohol. Its not like he's Hatton or Cotto who would gain 30-40 lbs just sitting around eating and drinking.

                    Floyd, BHop and guys like this can take off a while. Sidenote: I'm interested to see what happens with Tim Bradley when he comes off the layoff. Hes got a new baby at home so yu wonder if he can train at all.

                      We'll see in September boys.

                      Coz IMO there's a difference between inactive but a gym rat without real fights, and an active fighter with regular fights.
