What does Freddie Roach think when Manny Pacquiao shadow boxes?

I see videos of Manny Pacquiao shadow boxing, and I see Freddie Roach watching in the back and I'm wondering...What is Freddie Roach thinking? Does he think that this is the correct way to shadow box? Just throwing combinations of punches everywhere? I always thought shadow boxing was all about working on technique, anticipating your opponent in front of you, not just throwing punches but working on blocking as well. I see him working on footwork though, but I always felt that Manny Pacquiao's shadow boxing is all for show, looking good for the cameras and such.

Not to make this a Floyd vs Manny thing, but I felt like this video was the best example of shadow boxing I've ever saw.

Manny shadow boxes exactly how he fights...throwing punches in every direction and not blocking

Uhh, do you not see the difference between the two shadow boxing? It's not hard to see that one person is shadow boxing the right way, and the other person is shadow boxing the wrong way. I'm a Pacquiao fan as well, but trust me, his shadow boxing is not how you shadow box.

Yea, Pacquiao sucks balls, he doesn't even know how to shadowbox.

I think he does it as a warm up and to get loose. Thing is he shadow boxes at the pace that he fights...fast! Obviously he doesn't throw those same type of punches, shadow boxing is just a warm up anyway, punching without gloves on and with gloves feels so different so not important, it is just not an interesting point of discussion to be honest with you.

Floyd's pad work with Roger has pretty much no relevance to what he does in a boxing ring in terms of the types of punches he throws, he never throws in those types of combinations, but again he uses it as a warm up and just get his coordination going.
