All the fighters on the contender weren't actually "contenders" they were just decent fighters. You never know some of those fights could of been fixed by NBC, as they edited the fights and made the punches seem harder then they actually were.

He beat Ishe Smith who is a natural welterweight, not a middleweight. It was a 5 round fight. If he fought Ishe Smith in a 10 round fight, he would of most likely been knocked out. Ishe is class, and was fighting 2 classes above his normal weight. He knew all those guys were bums thats why he talked **** about all of them.

Jesse Brinkley was also losing to Bonsante until he got that lucky punch. Face it buddy, The contenders should be named "The Chumps". The only good fighter there was Ishe Smith.

Do you really think Sylvester and Sugar ray presented those fights to the crowd where celebrities came so they would be fixed? Your saying they would give 1 Million dollars to Mora just like that? lol I dont think they were fixed.

Ishe Smith is a good & smart fighter, I admit that but why would a welterweight fight a middleweight? why do you think he would be on the contender which had all the middleweights. Yes if you mean if he had the speed of a welterweight i agree with you on some extent but if he was that quick Mora still beat him with speed?

Jesse Brinkley was losing on points, but I would'nt call that a 'LUCKY PUNCH' No way, Brinkley gave hinm a left hook and then an Uppercut connecting straight to his chin, i still have that fight saved on my computer, Bosante was good after Round 4 he tired out, and Jesse Brinkley knocked him out.

The fights werent fixed, but they seemed closer then they actually were. Apparently Ishe held his own against Mora and he barely eeked out a decision.

And why would Ishe go on The Contender? For starters his career was going NOWHERE and being on TV once a week is awesome promotion for yourself. That's something fighting guys and working up the ranks just won't do for you.

Mora has beat a COMBINED record of 45-65. But you right, He'll probably be middleweight champion of the world. Hes THAT good.

With the exception of Ishe, The Contender had no talented fighters on there. The show was ALL about drama. Why else would you explain the high ratings? Not all of those people watching the show were boxing fans. It was reality TV.

Thats good sarcasm...I never said hes going to be a middleweight champion of the world but saying manfredo can beat mora is just pure bull****.

I also never said he cant be a middleweight champion If he continues the winning streak i would give him about 7 or 8 more fights and if he keeps winning to high rated contender he clearly has a shot. Enough said

I'm coming in late but Mora will never be good. Yes, he beat Ishe (who is 10x better) but Ishe was fighting 2 weight classes above his normal and if you look at the fight Mora didn't even beat him or barely did, he was just acting ****y thinking he can duck everyone of Ishe's punches. I hate the guy because he acts so ****y in the ring especially in the final episode.

Manfredo headbutt him in that final episode and Mora kept taunting him, Manfredo is the dirty player, he also butted Joey Gilbert who I used to think was good. But Mora didnt complain and kept fighting, that fight Ishe It could have gone either way, In my eyes i was expecting a draw and Mora got it, good for him
