    Should there be disabled boxing?

No... seriously. Disabled people do other sports, why should they be discriminated against? I was thinking: would you pay to see a man with one arm box? He'd be a singlepaw contender with a 34" reach.

Or you could have a guy with one leg going at it against some guy in a wheelchair. "Look at that guy's fancy wheelwork, he's obviously been working at it in the gym."

But in all seriousness... should it be allowed when other sports do? Serious question... sort of.

I watched a programme on a guy who was born with very short arms as a result of thalidomide. he was really successful judging by his lifestyle and tackled everythig. To this end he wanted to have a go at UFC stuff and actually fought against a registered fighter in the ring. They changed the rules though to allow kicking only, in which case the disabled guy did a bloody good job. Still not the same though.

    Lol

I watched the same program,it was a complete farce and i felt sorry for the young lad who had to face him.He had to hold back big time and looked embarresed by the whole thing.
These events are formed at the end of the day for someone to make money out of.I personally wouldn't pay to see it ,would you.

The idea is simply in bad taste and should no longer be discussed. As a matter of fact, the thread should be erased. This is an honorable boxing site and the suggestion is embarassing.

                  In my humble opinion,
