According to promoter Osvaldo Rivero, a representative for undefeated WBO super flyweight champion Omar Narvaez, a finalized deal has yet to be reached for a jump in weight to challenge WBC/WBC bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire. Rivero says a deal is close but there are a few minor issues in the contract that need fine tuning and they are still waiting for cable network to approve the fight. If everything comes together, the fight will happen on October 22 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
