Any guesses about the punch stats for Pac vs JMM 3? JMM is a great fighter and I hope he finds a way to keep the fight competitive. Marquez will give it his best effort, he won't go out like a chump.

Pac accuracy is diminishing as the round goes on. Partly because once his opponents tasted the canvas or felt his power, they start running away and becomes defensive.

while marquez opponents are getting hit easy because they are firing at marquez while marquez is countering

its bad to compare accuracy for two different styles

of course any counter puncher will beat >>>> any volume puncher's in any accuracy comparisson,

volume punchers punches most likely lands on his opponents arms which is counted as a miss

Your final percentages are incorrect if you added the individual percentages and divided the totals by 6 to come up with your final "averages" for each fighter.

This is a little better since you took an average of the total punches landed by the total thrown in all six fights to come up with your final percentages. However, JMM fought more rounds than Pac did in all 6 fights combined, so I think this skews the final percentages a bit.

Also, why stop at their last 6 fights? If you wanted more accurate percentages, you'd divide the total landed by the total thrown in their entire careers combined.

There called snipers because all it takes is one shot. In the military we have a saying, it is " ONE SHOT ONE KILL". Mayweather is as close to being a sniper with boxing gloves as we are ever gonna get. Pacquiao is the most unaccurate fighter I have ever seen. Marquez is defintlly a more accurate puncher than Pacquiao by far. Marquez actually pick his shots, before throwing punches. Pacquiao throws without destination. He even misses against stationary targets. He threw over 2000 punches at Clottey and only land 200, lol. Thtas crazy , Clottey stood right in front of him the whole time, with mulitple openings and Manny pacquiao still couldnt land at all.

Definitely JMM, I still don't know where all this accuracy this comes in with Paq, throwing a lot doesn't mean you are accurate unless jabs don't count!

Another thing is most of Paq's opponents over the last 5-6 fights arent movers, most of them are slow, shot to pieces, old or face first fighters so that should help his accuracy but still he is lagging behind on stats when compare to JMM.

                    Manny Pacquiao.

But lets ignore the facts as usual.

Proving it is a lot easier to counter punch and be accurate than be aggressive and be accurate.

I don't know how Pacquiao does it.

More accurate than Floyd while throwing more punches and being more agressive and throwing more combinations.

If Pacquiao just sat back and counter punched he wouldn't miss.
