Highly doubt he's broke but I fully believe he's having problems.
The writings been on the wall for a while now, most just choose to brush it off. He fights nothing but other TR fighters which there's obviously some underlying reason behind, he and his team are never on the same page publicly, and the most obvious- he just hired an outside firm to comb through his contracts and finances. Deeper than that- his promoter and advisor have been all over the place in regards to how they feel about the situation. Mind you, his promoter was fired, unfired, stripped of his duties, not stripped of his duties or whatever the hell else. Something clearly isn't right.
Remember when *******s were claiming that Floyd was broke and needed to fight to pay the IRS? Well this is karma.
Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. That and you borrow advances on your guaranteed purses.
I don't buy anything Roach and Pacquiao say negative or positive. They're liars and they've proven that over and over again.
I believe that Manny may have problems, but that's because Arum is getting as high as 30% of his earnings and GBP is getting 25% off of every Manny Pacquiao promotion.
Then when you consider trainers, sparring partners, doctors, cutmen, nutritionists, BALCO, strength and conditioning trainers, and training facilities, how much is the guy actually keeping in his pocket?
GBP actually gets a cut from the 27% Top Rank gets. I remember Arum being pissed off because GBP got $1 million from Top Rank for doing nothing from Pac/Cotto.
Well broke is a relative term, he still has assets and he will still be able to cash in on his name long after he is gone especially in the Philippines, plus from there with his political clout he should be able to stack the deck in his favor to make even more off that money.
He might run into some rough patches where he is not liquid especially as he transitions away from boxing but in the end I think he will be fine, maybe not as fine as he should be but still fine.
Then, of course, there's the distinct possibility all of this information is fed to the media just to keep the public talking about Manny when he isn't fighting. Since Floyd signed to fight Ortiz, there hasn't been much anticipation for Pac-JMM 3.
Buboy aint the problem him and manny been close since they were kids always running around together.
Its the rest of the clown's the freeloaders, and manny is too nice just to tell them were to go. And he should leave arum and promote himself. Manny has been loyal to arum all along but now he needs to do something for himself
