Here are some facts that anyone can easily confirm via Google:
1. Pac has a Php 100M parachute package from San Miguel Corp., one of the largest conglomerates in the country, the day that he retires from boxing. This was a gift from the local tycoon for bringing glory to the country and for endorsing San Miguel products.
2. Pac's statement of assets and liabilities for 2011 showed he had assets totaling $26M with ZERO liabilities. Assets are typically understated and undervalued while liabilities are often exaggerated to minimize tax liabilities.
3. His income from the Mosley fight, estimated at $25M gross or $15M net, is not yet included in his 2011 SAL statement since it occurred just this mid-year.
4. Pac has waived his endorsement fee from the Phil. Charity Sweepstakes Office in return for a donation of 8 ambulances to his province, waived a part of his HP fee for a donation of 2,000 PCs, purchased several hectares of land to give to flood victims, purchased several hectares for land for donation to Habitat for Humanity, purchased hundreds of fishing boats, carabaos and artesian wells for his constituents. These are not the actions of a man who is broke.
5. Pac owns several commercial buildings and business enterprises that earn him additional money.
6. Pac is the number two endorser in the Philippines, and he has a highly rated TV game show.
7. He stands to make around $10-15M net for the Marquez fight.
Roach has admitted that he has no communication whatsoever with Pac outside of his training, so he doesn't have much first-hand knowledge of Pac's finances. He did acknowledge before that Pac is too generous and that he is worried about him eventually going broke. But then, so did Arum.
People who still remember how Murad Muhamad stole from Pac will most likely agree that Arum has been way better for Pac's career and personal fortune.

I'd like to see Buboy training other fighters too (does he do that?), it'd be cool to be somewhat like Roach's protege or something.
TBH I cannot watch people being interviewed on Manny's team cheering him on and feel genuine about most of them, for some reason I just see leeches.

Buboy was already there when Pac was still a struggling boxer. Anyone else who became a "friend" after Pac became famous can likely be categorized as a leech. But that's the way of the world - a rich and famous person has to accept leeches or else he wouldn't have anyone around him.

You give a bum a million dollars and before the year is over it would be spent if not pissed away. Manny is just a normal dude who is pretty much doing what we would all be doing. **** I would have spent it all by now on b!tches.

The man just bought an 8 million dollar mansion in one of the most exclusive village in the Philippines. Its the village were most of the aristoc****, ambassador and diplomat stays. The guy makes 40,000 USD just attending a session in congress alone. Not to mention that politicians there are one of the most corrupt in the world. Its unfortunate but true. So dont be mislead with the reports especially on his statement of assets. They tend to declare less than what they actually make to understate their taxes.Last edited by mikemurni; 08-21-2011, 06:13 AM.
