Yes people tuning in how can they tune in for this fight then miss out the far better and more competitive fights this year.

They are not the real fans and will only tune in for their favourite fight no matter who he faces.

no, because many casual fans don't know these other fighters who were in competitive fights. Why is that? im not sure but i will guess they are not well known due to promotional issues, not being featured on the right cards that draw the casual fans.

bottom line is, Matweather is the top draw right now. He worked to get to this spot ( and pac has too) the only way these other fighters will get attention will be to climb the ranks like these 2 have.

These types of huge PPV is what brings casual fans to this sport. They tune in for Pac or Floyd and see some one they like on the under cards and then they start to follow his fights. It's the way it works.

Well I would rather pay for the PPV than deal with the people bitching about how HBO wasted money on a fight between two guys who are not exciting in a likely boring fight.
