I hope he wins rematch, he is a great fighter and a great person. Mares seems like a good fighter to but not a great person. Mares still talks like he did nothing wrong. I can't have any respect towards Mares acting like Mora didn't have a role in his win in last Saturday. Mares even denies he even landed low-blows. The guy is classless, we don't need fake champions like that in our sport.

cut the guy some slack, i dont condone what was done but there are much worse people in boxing than mares.

Agbeko needs to implement a different strategy next time -- more aggression, willingness to engage in exchanges and more activity -- he's a better all-around fighter than Mares but he needs to use all of his skills.

Ya I dont think Mora was paid off, just a little to eager to help out a fellow Mexican-American. They should have a race neutral ref, just like they should split up the judges from the same country. It is a shame it has to be that way, but the only way it is fair.

Only the mexican haters believe Agbeko won. He didnīt. People are either jealous of Mexican boxers, (puerto ricans), Blacks, or have white guilt. Mexican commentators, including the legendary Finito Lopez, saw Mares a winner, Agbeko pulled him down and hit him behind the neck.

The only controversy here is that the judges didn't have Mares ahead by a much wider margin like they should have. Mares landed approx 100 more power punches and dictated the tempo much more than Agbeko.
