Demertius Andrade Is Gonna Be A Big Time Player At 154lb & World Boxing.

The dude has some pretty outstanding skills. A Southpaw with quick reflexes, extremly fast hands and really plants his shot nice.

Last night he beat a good fighter in Brewer and made it look easy.

Brewer holds wins over CURRENT IBF 154lb Champ K9 Bunderage. Former Word Champion Steve Forbes. 15-0 Amatuer World Silver Medalist Anthony Thompson. And was coming off a KO win over 21-0 Fernando Guerrero.

Brewer is a very solid win and was quite a step up.

I feel Andrade can really make some big noise at 154lb and in world boxing.

Big time player where? FNF for the rest of his life? No one is going to want to watch this boring bum or much less pay to watch him fight, he's not getting any of the big names.

I'm not watching any of his fights again, I started watching The World According To Paris halfway thru the fight. That was a disgraceful ending to the FNF season.

As long as he continues to improve, people ***** because he wasn't overly exciting against Brewer, but who recently looked better against Brewer than Andrade.

Tall rangy south paw with a jab are usually a nightmare to face for anyone. One thing I would like to see from him though is to mix in some punches with bad intentions, he still throws punches to score as opposed to punches to really hurt the other guy, I don't think he should go completely away from the scoring blows, but I think he needs to do like a pitcher and mix in some hurtful punches, when he starts doing that he will really be on his way to the top.

I don't know if he will make noise at 154 or 160 because he looks really big for 154, but as long as he can make the weight and be healthy that will be a good division for him.

Exactly, im not even sure which doctor cleared him to fight? WHen they interviewed him he sounded like he has Autism or Down Syndrome or some disease, like a 6 year old with a 23 year old's body.

Im not sure he has the heart or mental game to step it up.

And why are people bigging up Brewer? I told people its going to be a huge snooze fest with jab/hold/hold/run/jab/clinch/headbutt. Its sad that Andrade was the one running backwards from a guy who threw 100 punches in the whole fight.

I didnt see ANYTHING to show he has something. Brewer was there to get KO'd. He is not some amazing fighter, he is 90 years old WAAAY past his prime and Andrade was there to look good. The fans started booing in round 4 or 5.

Good boxer with both a limited market and fan interest. He's not going to be a cash cow star, that's for sure.

I mean the guy has something but he's not marketable at all. He's the exact prototype of the kind of fighters I dislike, coward, boring and he's both against mediocre opposition.

You put this guy inside a ring with a any good anywhere near their prime fighters and he jumps out of the ring literally. No heart, no desire, no killer instinct, no soul - he doesn't belong in boxing.

He has been boxing his whole life what the fuck else is he going to do, he clearly is winning no intelligence or public speaking contests so this is his only chance to make it.

              He knows that~

Way to judge a book by it's cover though~

I actually agree, although his style is Boring to some, as far as MATCH UPS IN THE RING and SKILL WISE

if any of those top 154 fighters give him a shot...they could find themselves in for a LONG NIGHT with the young Andrade putting on a BOXING CLINIC!

some people don't know **** about boxing so why even acknowledge the IGNORANCE some of these guys are like WOMEN, they allow PERSONAL FEELINGS to effect their opinions about certain fighters

the Grady Brewer fight was ONE FIGHT for a young fighter with only 15 pro fighters under his belt, after watching what Grady did to Guerrero...Andrade actually fought a very smart fight...BORING...but SMART!

Andrade has a GREAT FUTURE and will develop into a legit threat at 154, just because a guy don't develop into a big draw does not mean he can't become champion you ***in idiots

NSB = Non Stop B!TCHING! lol
