Nobody is better than prime RJ prime for prime, P4P. Period. He would ridicule any fighter in history. Worst case is he would get in a chess match but still come out on top, and this would have to be with the best fighters like Leonard and Ali.

Its not about who was the best. Roy Jones Jr might have been the best ever, but there was never any drama or anticipation in his matches until he lost. The man never had a foil other than Father Time. He was born into the wrong era.

I agree Roy is up there with Ray Robinson, but he wasn't half as exciting to watch. And I'm a huge RJJ fan. Maybe the biggest. RJJ also wasn't as exciting to watch as a prime Mike Tyson. I don't think anyone ever has been.

Tyson is the reason that PPV boxing is what it is. He was a demigod. Half man. Half amazing. I don't think any boxer EVER has captivated the entire world JUST BY BOXING the way that Iron Mike did. Ali had support over social issues and the civil rights movement.

Tyson was PURE boxing and PURE intimidation in his prime. Had Cus lived on and Tyson stayed with him I believe that he would have been undefeated today and the God of boxing he should have been.

No one alive had the blend of skills and longevity that Ray Robinson did. No one alive had the natural talent and gifts that Roy Jones had.

Still, I have to go with Tyson as a favorite.

          Don King said it best:

"People would pay to watch Mike Tyson watching a HW fight and making comments before they would actually pay to see some of today's HWs fight".

That tells you something about how millions feel about Mike Tyson.

It took a while to warm up to B-Hop after their fight lol

a bigger version of duran would have beaten him....

hagler would have beaten him IMO...

he didnt have real technical skills he was a great athelete but he never beat an atg swarmer to show what he is made of,,,

he was an abush fighter and he couldnt fight in the pocket verywell....

sure he is great but i think he is definatly not top 20 pfp all time...

Yeah, it was. I hated Frank Bruno, and I'm glad Lennox TKO in the 7th round.
