Gamboa-Russell Jr. is the new Gamboa-Lopez

I believe Rusell might be better than Lopez and that handspeed between the two is amazing. I just hope they don't let this one 'marinate' for too long, lol.

Russell obviously has a ways to go before talking about that fight.

        I don't know too close.

I heard he might fight on the Donaire undercard on Oct. 22, but it looks like that has changed. Maybe Pac-Marquez III or Cotto-Marg II undercards.

Rau'shee Warren already pwnd Gary Russell in 2009 so i don't expect Russell to beat some of the elite fighters but i do think he can Juanma.

Russell has a slight speed advantage

                Gamboa hits harder

Russell I think has better defense.

                Gamboa has more experience.

Not sure about either's chins. maybe slight edge to Gamboa because he's fought stronger guys.

                Great fight.

                  Pretty solid logic.

I'm still waiting for Kelsen Pinto to hit it big.

JuanMa was ranked among the top P4P guys when the fight with Gamboa was being "marinated." Gary is still young and relatively unknown. It'll be a while before there's noise for a fight between Gamboa and Russell. Right now, I'd rather see Yuri versus Mikey Garcia. In any event, Gamboa is currently the man to beat at 126.
