Who has the better resume - Pacquiao or Cotto?

Resume, not career and everything that it implies. When you look at both resumes of the competition they've fought (if they were at their prime or not when they fought them etc etc), who and why.

    Manny Pacquiao:

    Miguel Cotto:

Cotto fought the better Margarito, still a good win for Pac tho.

Cotto would need to beat Mayweather to equal/surpass the achievements of Pacquaio's win over Barrera and Morales

Plus Pac has the win over Cotto and Margarito as well. So you'd need a rematch to settle that, and I doubt it'll happen.

Morales beat the Cheater the first time they fought. Was coming off losses when he finally beat him. So Cotto needs to beat someone who has equal name value coming off 2 losses?

I think the number of undefeated fighters Cotto has beaten > the number of "name value but old, coming out retirement, just got KO'd 2 fights ago" alone surpasses the Cheater with fans in high places ie Ring Magazine rankings advisory Board.

                Pacquiao.

Cotto has a really good resume though and has fought every Welter that's mattered in the last 3-4 years besides Mayweather and Berto.

TS should specify "@ welterweight" becuz with that u could make an argument for Cotto... But overally resume... A definite ATG vs an arguable HOFer, think about it

pac both fought better opponents and more importantly beat better opponents.

This is not close at all in my opinion. Surprised to see this thread.
