LMAO at America offering Khan a green card in 2003 to represent them in the Olympics

I found this quite interesting, must have been after he destroyed ther Olympic hopefull Ortiz

The European qualifiers are notoriously tough. The break up of the old Soviet Union meant that instead of one Soviet fighter, you now get a host of rock-hard, technically excellent, mature fighters from Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan . . . the list seems endless, especially to a wide-eyed teenager with a bum-fluff moustache.

The Amateur Boxing Association had not wanted their young protege to be hurled into such tempestuous waters, they had one eye on Beijing 2008 for their starlet, and even kept him out of the World Cadet Championship in the summer of 2003, sending him instead to the less-prestigious Junior Olympics in Louisiana.

It turned out to be a tactical mistake, Khan breezed to a gold medal and the best boxer award, wowing the Americans to the extent that the more enthusiastic US officials offered him a green card so he could box for them at the Olympics.

Khan pointed out that at 17 he was not even old enough to box for the British senior title.

The Americans insisted that you could fight in the Olympics at 17 but Great Britain's performance director Ian Irwin poured cold water on the notion.

its just a exerpt from an article

Does the American am system suck that bad that they have to try and tempt other countries fighters into representing them? Any other tales like this?

Or the Land of Opportunity....gave Khan the opportunity to participate in the real Olympics, something his own country thought he was unfit to participate in. Think about that for a second.

USA has long history of claiming inventions / athletes as their own.

According to Americans they Won WW1/WW2 by themselves, invented everything that we use today and are da best at everything!

Yet they have long history of stealing/kidnapping/buying/bribing people to come to USA and do their work.

Why you think so many Mexicans in USA? People born in USA are naturally lazy and dont want to work hard.

Just ask some Americans on this forum if Donaire is Filipino or American.

He was born in the Philippines so that is not hard to answer.

The cliche terms never end... You realize Americans work more then most countries? We get less sleep and work long hours to get what we want. In America you can get whatever the fuck you want as long as you earn in... So enough with the fucking lazy fat American BS term. It's a myth you lazy ass fuck.

Data on American worker time off, productivity, holiday, paid leave, sick time, hours worked per week & per year. Americans are overworked.

"According to the ILO, “Americans work 137 more hours per year than Japanese workers, 260 more hours per year than British workers, and 499 more hours per year than French workers.”

                    OWNED!
