Peterson hasn't beaten anyone. You can keep ****ing on about the rematch clause but the truth is he's not got any bargaining power. He lost to bradley (which is why you're bigging him up no doubt) and got a draw with 140lb version of Ortiz.

Maidana on the other hand had FOTY with Khan (almost had Amir out of there), made Ortiz quit and took Cayo out with a body shot.

Just my opinion, but Khan-Peterson would be a one-sided affair with Khan picking him to pieces. Think Khan-Malignaggi.

Maidana/Matthyse/Guerrero are better. I'd put Bradley in there but he seems to be on vacation
Show you a vid??Come on bro go watch any Peterson fight and you will see his infighting skills..I've followed the Peterson Bros since they became pro, both are hard workers and. Tough fighters..I don't care if Bradley beat him,Bradley beat everyone he has fought to date in dominate fashion, but Peterson pushed Bradley and made him have to change his game and really hurt Bradley to the body as well..I'm not taking anything from Maidana he is a good fighter and hella fun to watch..But Peterson presents a whole different set of problems because he can box as well as ****..

Ortiz and Peterson fought at a catch weight 1 and 2 Ortiz was a MW when he fought Peterson and tbh Peterson beat Ortiz and weathered a 3rd KDs..I don't understand why Khan fans are against this fight??It really makes me think y'all see what I see and know this will be a real tough fight for Khan..Onesided I doubt very much that would be the case Then you compare this fight to a fight with Paulie M come on dude..Peterson is a tough out,if you would rather see Maidana Khan can't be mad at that...Maidana is a beast and is a exciting fighter, but so is Peterson and once again he presents problems for Khan that I have not seen Khan deal with yet..

Id rather see him fight Peterson, simply because he has already beaten Maidana, that said his first this with MM was a thriller and Peterson would have no hope of beating Khan so its a difficult one

I have. I've watched most fights involving the top 10-15 guys in the 140lb division. He's good on the inside, but he can't impose his gameplan too well on his opponents. Which is why hes come up short in his 2 big fights.

And he's not that physically strong on the inside either. Quick example, it took him 12 rounds to wear Cayo down. Maidana stopped Cayo with ONE body shot.

LOL just LOL. Bradley would be a tough fight, Maidana too depending on how often he can find Khan. There's nothing about peterson that screams tough fight - do you think he can outjab Khan? And he won't be able to get on the inside the way you seem to think. He's not physical enough to do that. You're just looking for an excuse to criticise Khan.

You forgetting he just beat Judah? There were a lot of people here *cough* who though it was an even fight and Judah would be very dangerous with his left uppercut or even outslick Khan

But after Bradley backs out , and Khan dominates and slaps the shit out of Judah before stopping him on a body shot Peterson becomes the new big bad guy. Come on bro

It was man, for starters...Maidana clearly won rounds 10,11,12 , I can tell you that much. He also had a 10-8 round in the 10th, of course Amir Khan won clearly but it WAS a close and competitive fight throughout.

I've always stated Peterson hasn't gotten the kind of respect he deserves, but in this match up, he just doesn't have good enough defense, neither does he have good enough foot speed. I see Khan bouncing shots off of Peterson's guard, landing/ half landing, then getting out AND repeat.

Maidana would put up the better challenge, he has the right mentality for this fight.

You can't be serious in asking that, can you name a better inside fighter at 140 currently? I doubt you can.

Anyway, Peterson's inside fighting is irrelevant because he'll be unable to get inside. That's the main issue in my opinion.

I'm one who believes timing off sets speed, and Peterson has really good timing..Khan should be favored but Peterson has longer reach faster feet and better boxing ability then Maidana...He would be a tough out bro,add that he is mentally tough and you have a hard fighton ya hands if ya are Khan..I said I gave Maidana 3 or 4 rds at best I could see Peterson winning more rds then that..

                  Neither.

                  Amir already beat Maidana.

Even though I think Peterson is a good fighter, a win over him doesn't add much to Amir's resume. Plus, Peterson had his chance and he declined. I want him to always look back at that moment when his bum career ends.

I want the Morales-Matthysse winner or Prescott if he manages to beat McCloskey.

                  Peterson is choice no. 3.

He does, but he doesn't have the right mentality. Cotto handled Margarito well early, but because of Margarito's determination, demeanor, he got Miguel out of there, no different from Maidana. Maidana also has fight changing power, where as Peterson doesn't.

You honestly think Peterson will land enough to accumulate damage on Khan? Enough damage to put him IN the fight...

                    Don't think so man.
