LOL what the hell? I seriously can't find a single moment in round 10 where he had any type of success. Vitali beat him so badly he forgot what happened.

Briggs clearly has a cash flow problem.

At first i thougt that interview was a joke...but is Briggs in need of money or something? Solis did more in that first round than Briggs did in during the entire fight.

Briggs is a nice guy, a smart guy and someone who I think can do great things outside of boxing with the rest of his life.

That said, I don't think he should ever fight again and that he would be in danger of severe injury if he were to fight Vitali again.

Vitali wont fight him again anyway. He is winding down on his career and doesnt want to waste his last few fights going over old ground. The 1st fight was pointless so theres no need to do it again.

Briggs showed courage and heart that night. He even showed a great chin by standing up for 12 rounds but little else. I wouldnt mind seeing him fight Haye though. There were some bad words exchanged between them two and given Briggs is big, powerful and takes a shot I think he could make an interesting fight with David who badly needs to salvage something. A win over a washed up Briggs wont do much to restore his rep but its a start and nice clash of styles IMO.

                      It was a joke

To those of you who haven't figured this out (seems like everyone on the forum :P) what Briggs was saying literally was a joke. Briggs does that some times, clown around in interviews and press conferences (see some of him and Vitali's promo pictures for their fight).

He is making fun of himself by claiming that he had Vitali hurt in the 10th.

He's just saying that even though he got his ass kicked by Vitali, at least he showed a ton of heart, and still deserves more big money fights if guys like Solis are going down in one.
