Doesn't say what weight the fight is at, could be he's making that dude move up, because we all know he has weight problems, or maybe this is another B.S. catchweight fight, like maybe they'll fight at 150 for the super middleweight title.

Doesn't even matter, his career is still done. Best of luck to him though.

A prime, dedicated guzman would have been a problem for anyone, yes even pacquiao. Maybe he wouldn't have beat him, but it would have been a tough fight for Pac no doubt. I mean people love Soto on NSB, they think he's all that and guzman made him look like some ordinary bum throughout that fight. That says something. And that was after a year layoff too.

His career was plagued with a combination of bad management for years, and then later his weight issues. If he had different management earlier on, who knows what he could have become.

The only knock on him was his power didn't come with him as he went up in weight class. He still had good pop in his punches though, so it's not like he was feather fisted, he did stun people and earned respect, but still he lost a lot of power as he climbed up in weight.
                You obviosly dont know boxing.

Guzman cheated with an intentional low blow in the 3rd and shouldve been disqualified.

Just look at the 3rd round.

and you'll see Guzman cowardly hit Soto after Soto had Guzman on thr ropes after Soto had hurt Guzman earlier with shots to Guzman's chin.
and after that , Guzman ran like s scared chicken for the rest of the fight, than even ESPN labeled it running.
Junior-welterweight champion Joan Guzman remained undefeated with a unanimous decision over Humberto Soto on Saturday night.

when Guzman fought Funeka, Barrios and others, he trades with them and walks through their punches.
When Guzman fought Soto, Guzman tried to trade with Soto the first 2 rounds and could no longer handle Soto's power and then ran scared from Soto for the rest of the fight.

                Guzman is a chicken.
