Even in Tarver 1 Roy wasnt Roy... in his prime as with Tyson be they Taxi Drivers, Hofers, or legends... Roy and Tyson where unbeatable, the most skills, explosivness and sheer power...

I always cry... Roy is my idol. He's the reason I became a fan of boxing. Reason I fell in love with boxing. We who love roy are loyal and true boxing fans and we will never forget RJJR

            he was an incredible fighter...

he was one of the best athletes of all time...

but i dont understand when people call him brilliant....

all he did was beat people with his better speed and pwer...

i think to be a brilliant fighter wouldnt u have to have great technical skills and outsmart ur opponents...

6 left hooks in a mili second isn't brilliant due to the fine execution, timing and precession and power?

Though I agree his technical soundness was his downfall yet his strength in his prime

Roy was a great fighter for years.

I started disliking him after he beat Ruiz as his ego got way out of control.
I could hardly stand his interviews after that. Saying he'd beat the Klitschko's and everyone else just because he beat Ruiz who wasn't himself as the night before he had a domestic dispute where the cops came to his place at 4 am.

The legend killer, Antonio Magic Man Tarver put an end to all Roy's crazy talk.

I was so happy that happened.

I actually like Roy again now after he ate humble pie many times yet trudged on.

I have no sympathy for Roy, what he is doing is unexcusable and pathetic. It's not only an embarassment to himself but to his fans as well, hang them up... even though his legacy is severly damaged already.
