Indeed. Boxing fans have a short memory. Like to get all uppity and righteous immediately after the controvery, then completely forget what they were getting uppity and righteous for.

I'm disgusted by Mora and Mares, and GBP for blatantly being the ones behind this, but I'm too cynical to expect anything to be done about it, or anyone to care enough to want to change things. Lara still has a L on his record for his last fight. Guzman is still licensed. Mora will be back to ref more big fights.

And no one will bat an eyelid when he does.

I read somewhere Keith Kizer said he will be sidelined from doing big fights and I think he'll start back doing small time fights then going up.

He’ll need to take his time coming back and build himself back up.
