This is one of the few Mayweather fights I've been excited about (others being against DLH and Hatton) because it will actually be an interesting bout. I am still kind of surprised Mayweather took on a young and dangerous fighter, a fighter that's hungry and packs power and skill as well.
You might say Mayweather knows what he's doing or that he must have seen something in Ortiz that he he thought he could exploit but fact of the matter is, none of that takes away from the threat that Ortiz poses. The guy can take a punch, packs power and speed and is relentless when he has a purpose. He had one for the Berto fight and he certainly has a bigger one this time around. This fight is no joke, it could be one of the best fights in boxing history. Interesting circumstances and matchup.
You want him to come back and go up 2 divisions to fight Sergio? Damn son high expectations.
i wouldn't say high expectations. i think it has alot more to do with people wanting greatness to constantly challenge itself. (I'm wrong, i guess tyhat's why high expectations is ) apart from pac and serg, i don't see anyone else as a threat to floyd, because he's that good. the problem with that is, we never get the unexpected, and getting the expected in entertainment is boring.
for the record, I love to watch floyd fight and I'm glad he's back.

Can't disagree but I hope the standard of greatness is applied to all fighters, not just floyd because he talks alot of isht.
People know me as a Mayweather hater, but even though I wish he would be facing Martinez instead, Ortiz is the next best option outside of Pacquiao. The undercard is too sick to be hating anyway.
