Froch Dirrell was not a robbery,it was a close fight that Froch won by Split decision..If Dirrell would have fought instead of hug he might have won..
Here we go with the bull**** again on the Froch-Dirrell fight. You need to go back and watch that fight. Carl Froch's entire strategy in that fight was to grab and hold Dirrell around the waist with his left and throw punches at Dirrell's head with his right. In other words, ALL of the holding was initiated by Carl Froch and Dirrell ended up getting penalized for it. Anyone with a drop of honesty in their body knows that it should have been Carl Froch who got penalized for the numerous fouls that he committed in that fight and not Dirrell for being held by Froch. Andre Dirrell was moving to his right (Froch's left) from the opening bell and Froch didn't have any answer for that, as he had bet his entire fight plan on landing a big right hand, other than to hold and hit. It's baffling to me that people can't see that it was Froch that initiated all of the holding in that fight because it was the heart and soul of his fight plan. Not to mention the fact that Carl Froch never landed any significant punches in that fight yet he was hurt twice by Dirrell. How can you win a fight without landing any power shots when you are a self professed power puncher? That was the most obvious hometown reffing and judging I've ever seen. Froch knows that he didn't win that fight because he makes excuses and talks trash about Dirrell still to this day and Dirrell has long put the disappointing loss behind him. As the one who was awarded the victory, if you really think you won Froch why is this guy under your skin? And for those proponents of Carl Froch walking through Ward's punches, I hope he takes your advice. Because whatever Carl Froch does Ward will adjust to in real time in the ring but if he decides to just soak up and "walk through" Ward's punches to try land his own he may not get knocked out but he will most certainly be defeated. Ward will time him coming in if he tries to stalk and pressure. I would give him a better chance of winning if he actually tried to box. Whatever he does Ward will adjust to and enforce the idea that his gameplan isnt working into Froch's head. Then what will Froch do? He is not going to out think Andre Ward in the ring and that's the real difference.

Froch 153/475 32%; Dirrell 105/315 33%
Froch threw more and landed more, was more aggresive and and controlled the ring.
I am a fan of both Ward and Froch...And I feel Froch's boxing ability is underrated, he can control distance pretty well with his jab sometimes. He's slow but he makes up for it with strength and timing. Ward on the other hand has more physical gifts, but he also has a very strong mind. The guy has tremendous focus, and can adjust under pressure on the fly. Adjustment is key to being an Elite boxer. Which Ward has shown he can do against A level boxers time and time again. Ward will beat Froch, and it's not going to be simply because he's faster. It's because he will adjust to what Froch brings to the table. He will not allow froch to find his range and will drop Froch's punch output with footwork, movement, and smothering his shots. I see Ward switching more often in this fight, when he's at a distance he will be orthodox but when he gets close to open up, he'll switch as he's coming in, and will let his left hand go. and when Froch tries to retaliate, Ward will be gone, or too close to the the point Froch won't even be able to measure him. this will be the general pattern of the fight, i don't see Froch landing anything significant enough to hurt Ward, and even if he managed to hurt ward, do you think he'd be able to find him to get the stoppage, highly doubtful, Ward 118-110.
True except Froch resume is better then Wards and he has been winning the tough fights..Where do they find these guys at??Froch sucks??Please stop making an azz of ya self..Even if Froch loses to Ward it does not mean Froch sucks, unless you are saying that Ward sucks..
I don't agree with the statement that "Froch sucks". But you're statement that he has a better resume than Ward sounds just as ridiculous. How can he have a better resume than Ward when he lost to Kessler in this very tournament and Ward dominated Kessler? I'm trying to figure out how you've come to such a bold assessment with that win/loss to a mutual opponent scenario standing there like the elephant in the room.

I don't know where you're getting those punch stats from because I watched that live and watched numerous replays and read many of articles and not any of them provided punch stats. But somehow you have them. Did someone count punches for this fight retroactively or did you come up with these numbers by counting punches yourself? I'm just curious because you are the first person I've ever heard of to profess to have punch stats for that fight.
