I think he'll have to be very disciplined in this one as Froch is long and pretty savvy himself. Really tough matchup for both of these guys and a fitting finale. I like what I see in Ward and would like to see him continue to ascend. I think he'd be an excellent 175lber and perhaps may be able to take a better shot there as well. On the other hand, I like Froch as well and would have no qualms with him pulling off the tourney either.
Dazed, what's going on my brother? Are you back on American soil, yet? Anyways, good post. I think Froch is a good fighter and his resume over the last couple of years has been impressive. I think this final is the perfect one considering all of the circumstances the tourney. I can't wait for it. Really looking forward to Mayweather's return, but I'm AMPED for this one!

Yes maybe the best chance Ward has of winning against Froch .
You have it all figured out now? Kind of like using a jab?

Hey I understand, I would be mad too if I was clowned in the ring by a newbie like Dirrell. Froch isn't smart enough to beat Ward. Kessler validated that. Yet I will say he improved vs old man Johnson.

I remember everyone having the 3 Americans in this tournament losing every time they fight one of the Euros in the Super Six because the Americans were either shot (Taylor) or green (Dirrell and Ward), while Froch, Abraham, and Kessler were prime, almost unblemished, and at the top of the sport.

        What happened?

Ward beat Kessler, Abraham, and now Froch's on deck.
Dirrell beat Abraham and should have been given the decision vs. Froch.

Where does that leave Europe in the Super Six? Second place.

Back state side and I see not much has changed on NSB . But I love this matchup and will try to catch it live. Amped for Floyd-Ortiz too. Everywhere I went I heard how boxing is sagging but I'll take those two fights any day.

Maybe Stephen Hawking should fight Ward, he is really smart.

That's good man, I'm sure you enjoyed your stay! I would love to catch this fight live myself, but I'll throw a nice party at the house. And yes, in your absence, NSB hasn't changed a bit.

After Ward beats Froch, and its a public demand, maybe so....

I think the Atheist could possibly take the SOG if he got a rolling start....

Hawking got a pretty good right cross.
