Quiet frankly I dont like Toney and I wish that Vitaly just beat the living **** out of him...but damn, the dude is a living legend, he has done so much in his career and his skills are simply brilliant that he is still capable to dance with the big boys, you gotta respect that fat, drug dealing bastard...he is def. one of the icons of this sport.

thing about Toney is that he is not one of those twitchy reflex type fighters...he is very relaxed...meaning he can be smothered and look vulnverable...but he knows what he is doing...he is not the type to COMPLETELY avoid a punch from miles away like Mayweather...he is the type in his own relaxed way to roll with a punch to return a counter of his own...he is not about expending tons of energy throughout a round...he is about slipping his opponents punches and making them pay one or two shots at a time...then sometimes opening up with a 4-5 punch combo...

Toney was never a Floyd Mayweather type of stylist...he is a James Toney stylist...who rolls with punches...slips with them...counters...lets you think you are roughing him up on the inside...then BOOM BOOM BOOM...

if you were expecting something else, then especially at HW, you won't get it...
