Proof ... Lennox Lewis is Anything But A Lion.....

Anyone who says "if the fight would've continued, Vitali would've won" is ignoring several obvious points.
The fight was stopped because Vitali couldn't see. The doctor who stopped it said Vitali's eyelid was preventing him from seeing, and he (Vitali) had to move his head to see how many fingers the doctor was holding up ... meaning he couldn't see Lewis' right hand coming.
The proof that Vitali couldn't see Lewis' right hand coming is displayed on Vitali's face. The whole left side of his face was falling off. He had multiple cuts above his left eye. He had at least four cuts below his left eye. The left side of his mouth was cut and swollen. His left ear was bruised and purple.
If the fight wouldn't continued, Vitali's face today would look like a stroke victim's ... he'd probably be blind in that eye to boot.
Who gives a crap if Vitali won four rounds. The fight was a 12-rounder, and Lewis had already tore Vitali to shreds inside six rounds. (Hell, they were looking at stopping as early as the end of the third round.) I can't imagine how tore up he would've gotten, how much blood he would've lost, how much permanent damage he would've suffered, if the fight had continued.
For those who said Vitali took the fight on short notice, he did. But Lewis took the fight on short notice as well. And Vitali was quoted after the fight as saying Lewis was "heavy" and "not in great shape."
If Lewis had been in great shape, the fight probably would've ended sooner rather than later.
As far as Lewis retiring and not rematching with Vitali, Lewis had already won fair and square. I don't recall Lewis ever rematching with someone he defeated. But he insisted on rematches with guys who beat him.
Vitali, on the other hand, has never avenged any of his losses.
In fact, after Lewis retired, Vitali was rated#1 by Ring magazine and the IBF champ Chris Byrd (who had a win over Vitali) was rated #2. But Vitali chose to fight Sanders instead for a vacant belt ... instead of avenging his loss to Byrd.
How did Wlad manage to fight Byrd twice after Byrd defeated Vitali, but Vitali couldn't find the time to fight Byrd again and avenge his own loss (and win a title in the process)?
Vitali has milked his loss to Lewis for a decade.
But the fact is Vitali couldn't last seven rounds with an out-of-shape Lewis.
Every right hand Lewis served up took a chunk of meat out of Vitali's head.
A prime Vitali took the worst beating of his life that night, against a nearly 40-year-old champ who wasn't at his best.
Look, Lewis won the Olympic Gold Medal, Vitali got kicked off the Olympic team before the games after testing positive for roids.
Lewis beat every man he ever faced as a pro, Vitali will never be able to make that claim.
When you discuss who was the best fighter Lewis defeated, names like Vitali Klitschko, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson are mentioned.
When you discuss who was the best fighter Vitali ever defeated, you get names like Corrie Sanders and Chris Arreola and Sam Peter. Hell, Sanders may have been the best opponent Vitali ever beat ... which is pretty freaking sad.
Vitali Klitschko is a very good fighter. Lewis is an all-time great, first ballot hall of famer ... who stopped Vitali in six by ripping his face off.
Deal with it.

Yes he wasn't seeing 100% because of the cuts in & around his eye & yes he was getting hit with shots he normally would have avoided.. with that being said.. he still was defending himself & was never helpless.. was the aggressor throughout the fight including the 6th & final rd.. the test wasn;t a thorough one.. Vitali was exhausted & wasn't being made aware of the fact his eye was under review... they just looked at the severity of all the lacerations & grotesque cuts around his face & called the fight off.
Vitali immediately screamed out that he could see once he realized the fight was being called off.. Lennox was just as depleted & more so.. afterall it was him that got thwarted with NEARLY 60 more punches than Klitschko endured.. That's an average of 10 more Klitschko punches a rd.... the evidence on him was Not cosmetic.. it was more internal..
he had a broken nose..his face was swollen & his stamina at that point was even lower than Klitschko's as evidence by his wild swings at Vitali right at the end... he was winging shots at Vitali JUST from mere exhaustion & plopped on his stool.. for all we know he was on his way to doing a WLAD impersonation at the end of the Brewster fight..completely & utterly spent.. but NO.. the fight was called of because one fighter LOOKED more beaten than the other cosmetically.. when in reality it was the other fighter who was More spent physically.

Not necessarily.. he was pretty much dancing & fighting with the same physical appearance for the better part of 2 rds.. the corner was tending to all the cuts.. you had already let him fight in this manner for 2 rds.. why call it off on a whim.. let both fighters finish what they started.. they WERE both equally spent physically.. the fight at that point was a ****ing tossup & a battle of endurance. why JUST handgift wrap the W to Lennox when there was a man fighting his heart out for an opportunity to be called the best in the world & trying to show the world he was No quitter without good cause. That fight at worst should've been called a technical draw as Vitali didn't lose that fight.. he was winning that fight & more importantly willing to go on.. wasn't being dominated.. holding his own for every second of that fight.. I will NEVER TREAT that as a loss just because it's made official by the boxing commisions.. i know who was CLEARLY the better fighter that night was for 6 whole rds & it was NOT lennox Lewis who caught a cut break to pull out a W he neither earned or deserved.

If they were looking at stopping it earlier.. then they should've done it be4 they allowed the boxers to go to war..... it's like telling the boxers..you're in a war but we're going to have to stop it because of concern for the safety of one of the participants.. you don't do this when both men are fighting there hearts out & decide to just Give the war & victory dance to one party because the other opponent is giving the appearance as if he's about to submit but is the one who's actually holding his own & getting the better of the exchanges regardless of the last 10 seconds when Lewis had Vitali tieing him up.. those 10 seconds didn't tell the entire tale of that 6th rd as it was Klitschko in charge for most of that rd.. the haters won't tell you that because they rememeber the waning seconds of that rd. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

First of all.. this was no clear cut W BY ANY stretch of the imagination.. his sorry a$$$ was booed out of the building because the wrong fighter was awarded the W.. To LEAVE ON SUCH A SOUR NOTE bUT HAVE IT COMPLETELY turned around by his supporters & Him IS COMPLETELY absurd & delusional. Lennox knew he had unfinished business... had his biggest payday waiting for him because of the public;s thirst to see another such battle of two bigs swinging wrecklessly for the fences.. promised Vitali a rematch 10 seconds after the fight.. told him to let his eye heal & they can do it again .. dragged him along until he had to fight Johnson WHO HE DISPOSED of in such a brutal dismantling.. & Lennox was running out of time .. be stripped or fight Vitali again.. He chose being stripped.... you can word it anyway you like but at the end of the day Lennox was stripped of all 3 belts that he unified for refusing to face long reigning title holders in John Ruiz.. Cris Byrd & Vitali KlITSCHKO... HIS pr TEAM makes it look like he was a dignified champion... yet he didn't respect opponent by training properly.. refused to face fighters even though belts would be lost... this is really what Lennox was about... the portrait you guys have of him are fictional.. THIS IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED!
Vitali, on the other hand, has never avenged any of his losses.

50 % of that statement is who's fault exactly?

He was fighting for Lewis' belt... truth be told.. he didn't consider Byrd a threat. KNOWS he really didn't lose to him to begin with,, had much bigger fish to fry in Sanders & most importantly didn't have to PROVE A thing to no one when it came to Byrd.. The Lewis fight more than took care of that. Let his brother kick his @ss twice.. that's good enough for Vitali.. He doesn't need to be bothered by the runners & the head weavers who try to make him miss & pull out his shoulder.. come to fight. stiick your head in front of his jab & get pummeled.. leave the weak stuff for Wlad to dispose of.

Nothing wrong with those names.. he has several more good names as well... & and as for Vitali's best W... you can add Lennox Lewis to that.. everyone but the boxing commisions know won the event .. the battle & the war that night.. when one wins a war.. the other party doesn't come out to defend what's there's Lennox didn't dfend his Wbc title.. got stripped for the 3rd time & conveniently made it look as he was retiring anyways. at least Vitali admitted that he gave up his belt Because he knew he wasn't going to face Rahman bcause of numerous prefight injuries.... he returned 4 yrs later to retrieve it.. Rahman conveniently wasn't there & as usual was getting ktfo by Maskaev.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=
Correction.... Vitali Klitschko is an alltime great as well.. who gives a flying F whether some hall of shame commision brings him in on the first try. Vitali Klitschko is simply the most dominant fighter in the history of his sport,,, the numbers clearly point this out time & time again.. his size & strength advantages.. sees to it that he'll have the advantage over you EVERY single time no matter if your name ends in ALI;; rOBINSON.. MAYWEATHER OR PAQUAIO.. OH & lewis didn't stop him.. the dr at ringside did... get that straight will..ya!
