Like I said, just because I have a Polish last name doesn't mean I'm Polish or want anything to do with the Poles. Whatever they got going on over there is fine but I want no part of it. I'm American and am focused on what I have here. Part of the reason I'm in the United States is because my grand parents were smart enough to LEAVE that country. In fact, this is why I believe Americans are brash, ****y and arrogant. We all came from different nations but were smart enough to go out and get more but for some reason we have lost a bit of that.Comment

You just took two statements from two completely different debates. One was talking about how Eastern Europeans completely try to tarnish American boxing. The other was kind of saying that we should stop worrying about where our great grandparents came from and start building our own culture, our own nationality and be proud of what we have here, in America.
"American fight fans have very little pride in their fighters or country".
Those conflicting statements made me think you were a bit off, but this,
Point is Mexicans fight at lower weights where real athletes are lacking
just confirms your ******ity.

We took that ****. Took the food and ****d the women. No one said that we were always nice.
I respect you opinion.. But Little guys can and are real athletes also, It has alway been known that heavier weights generate more excitement and are given more importance.. Mexican and Mexican americans will soon be dominating at the higher weight classes, mainly due to the shortage of Black and Anglo American men who are no longer interested in boxing. Look at Chris Arreola, He might not be great but he gave Vitali a good fight and never stopped trying to win unlikeother fighters wh have folded to the Klitschko's. ****t look at MMA, Cain Velasquez is the mosr dominating MMa fighter in the world right now.. Mexicans have the potential to dominate in boxing and MMA in the near future, MAybe all we have to do is eat a whole lot more tortillas and Burritos.. LMAO
It isn't enough. We need more people that are proud to be from this nation. British don't have this problem, we shouldn't either.Comment

I agree with the OP
Guarantee you , most of the folks on here constantly talking **** about america (and american boxers) while glorifying foreign countries/fighters, live in america themselves.Comment

They certainly lack the passion they used too, maybe its something too do with the country generally producing less world class fighters that happen too be warriors also, but its more likely too be something too do with boxing generally being less popular than it once wasComment

How about the people who are in America don't feel American because there is a mix of other people?
How about people feel they are African American, or Hispanic American, or Irish American, Italian American, or Asian American?
Also since quite a few names are drug users, American people have disowned their own country.

credit to america.
want to know why?
american fight fans enjoy any nationality of fighter who becomes big in america.
pacquiao as an example. many others. imagine if pacquiao became a fan favorite in russia, russians wouldnt support him, theyll be disgusted. most countries are selfish nd ignorant to other races. its great to be behind your country, but i bet you america is completely fine if a fighter or figure from another country becomes a icon in its world. can i say the same for other countries? if im wrong, please enlighten me and ill glady apologize. as good as mayweather has been, cotto, pacquiao, say if they were togo to russia and fight there instead of here, would they be big? no theyll be looked down on. and dont say there big already it wouldnt matter, they got big in AMERICA. would they get big without america and fought in another country?
