Jean Bédard of InterBox has announced that Lucian Bute (29-0-0) will defend his IBF super middleweight title against Glen Johnson (51-15-2) on November 5th. It is assumed that Bute-Johnson will be staged at the Bell Centre or at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec. Showtime will televise, likely paired with highlights of Mikkel Kessler's bout with WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz, which is scheduled to take place on the same day in Denmark. Good news. I reckon that was the best fight available for Bute. He'd be favoured no doubt, but Johnson will make Bute work.

This fight will show us if Glen is really shot or not.
If he puts up a good fight and can pull the trigger then he should continue to fight.
If he looks shaky and out of stamina like against Froch then it's time to hang the gloves up.
Also probably the first real test of GJ ain't shot for Loosay Bootay.
