Ariza better chill. He has been pretty critical of folks around Manny.

Ariza and the author of the article are CONFUSED. Beltran is Chavez's promoter in Mexico. Chavez went forward with the fight, through Beltran, without the consent of Top Rank or Arum, who are worried that an injury or a cut could cancel out his HBO date on November 19.

What a circus act. I dunno who's responsible for this fight going through, but it's just absolutely idiotic to fight on the same day as Mayweather AND Canelo. Well, if Chavez does lose, I don't think anybody is gonna give a crap.

Bob Arum should retire along with Don King, Gary Shaw etc.

                    Thanks for clearing that up.

Either way, seems pretty damn risky. Hearns is a decent fighter. He wasn't doing too bad against Felix Sturm when they fought. Just saying, if he comes in 100% and motivated, uses that height, reach and jab. Could be trouble for Chavez, especially if they have a short camp.
