Breathing is one of the most underrated aspects of physical training. I never knew this technique. I know that most people breath through their mouths but I was always taught that breathing through your nose was best to conserve energy but what he says makes sense.

Interesting, I will try this when I run.

I honestly can't believe he wrote that junk and expects people to believe he's some kind of conditioning genius.
I felt the exact same way. Not sure if there are any How To's written on breathing whilst working out, but i'm sure that would be on the first page (everything he states) Lol.

What a waste of time and space. That blog was hogwash. Fighters have been using every method under the sun from high altitude training, swimming, to combat style training ala Ann Wolfe, and yet Ariza found the key that no one in boxing has been unable to unlock....BREATHING!?!?! I refuse to believe telling someone when to eat an apple and breathe through their mouths equates higher punch outputs in your 8th weight division. Just saying....

This technique works for running or jogging but that's as far as it goes. The point is to take in oxygen slowly so you don't pass out.
