Barrera-Jesus Chavez and Barrios-Freitas on HBO Feb 4?

    1. Marco Antonio Barrera (61-4)

Future Hall of Famer unified belts with a dominant decision against Robbie Peden last month; now eyeing Feb. 4 crack at 135 titlist Jesus Chavez hoping to become the first Mexican fighter to win belts in four divisions.

    4. Jorge Barrios (44-2-1)
Nothing is set, but there have been quiet discussions about a possible rematch with Acelino Freitas at 135, a fight that would be paired with Chavez-Barrera on HBO's Feb. 4 card.

That would be a class fight. I rate him Barrera very high. Technically, he is the best mexican fighter active today. If he were to fight Pac again, I would favour Barrera.

Lets not rule out Chavez may never be the same fighter again.....Hopefully not but it is something to consider.

This is a very good card and hopefully won't be PPV(yeah rite).

Anyway, MAB getting that fourth division title is a great accomplishment that will surely piss off Morales fans. First of all, Morales was suppose to be that first Mexican to do that. The original plan for EM was to fight Leavander Johnson but he chose the path of giving Pacquiao a rematch and he hit a bump in Raheem.

If Barrera get's that lightweight title, it's almost guaranteed that MAB-EM IV will happen.

Yeah, unless Jesus Chavez doesn't care about human life, this is gonna effect him AT LEAST a bit, I don't think he will be as able to finish people, or simply not punch as hard. Hopefully not though.
