Am I the only one who thinks Dawson will beat Hopkins?

Alot of people including myself give Dawson a great shot at winning. I'm from Philly and people over here think Dawson actually takes it.

don't see Hopkins beating him at his age
he lost to Pascal, but Dawson is much better than him

I think Dawson should be favored, but as a betting man I wouldnt take either without 2 to 1 odds at least. I think Dawson wins this fight, I think it is ugly, boring, and probably a md, sd or very close UD for Dawson. Hopkins makes people look ugly, he'll have his moments, but in the end I think Bad Chad is too skilled and takes 1-2 of the first 6 rounds and pitches a shutout in the last 6.

Obviously not. Hopkins is just a tad under a 2-1 underdog.

Wow. I'm even less confident in picking Dawson now. Hopkins always likes being an underdog.

From the threads I've seen a lot of people are picking chad and I think most everyone agrees it should be a tough/close fight. There are a few that say hopkins or dawson will easily win but I think those are just fanboys or haters.

As a big hopkins fan I think it's a 50/50 fight. Just depends on what hopkins has left and what kind of motivation chad has going into the fight.

Looking at this fight from Dawson's perspective he should be highly motivated to show the world that he is capable of beating the best. Problem is he is a southpaw fighting a guy who really knows how to fight south paws and he hasn't fought someone with Hopkins boxing IQ in a long time if ever. He has been fighting guys big on heart and power but lacking in the skills dept. If Hopkins carry over his momentum/confidence from the Pascal fight and if Dawson fights a slow pace as usual that actually favors Hopkins I'm picking Hopkins all day long. Doens't mean Im counting Chad completely out cause he's that good but I dont know how he will react to Hopkins ring intelligence and all around mental warfare prefight.
