Hearns earns 2 title shots, the first one by being brutally knocked out by club fighter Jorgey and the next one by being brutally knocked out by Sturn. Hell, if Chavez KO's him in one round, that may earn him a shot as Martinez the way this is going. What a farce, like Chavez.

In the beginning you earn your title shot by proving you were championship material and defended it against the best.

Then you were maneuver to a title shot against worthy opposition and once champion you defended against the best.

Then you were maneuver to the title against nobodies and once champion you would pick the best opponent.

Now you are given a title against an underclass, unranked fighter handpicked by the promoter and sanctioning body (if you are Mexican the WBC), and only defend it against opposition that are at least 6/1 underdogs.

      The sport is dying!!!!!

      Sub par Champions
      Sub par officiating
      Sub par promoters
      No National or International regulations
      Unfare rankings
And lots and lots of paper champions!!!!!

Can someone please get me a cleanex…….

i agree with this fight being a farce, but don't you think Zbik was a legit top ten opponent? I can't believe Hearns couldn't even beat Jorgey, and much less, got KTFO'd by him. LOL then angulo almost killed that dude. . .

but remember, chavez HAD NO AMATEUR CAREER! the fact that he has gotten this far in the professional ranks with NO AMATEUR BACKGROUND whatsoever says something. he probably didn't even start seriously boxing until 6-7 years ago. give him time, and take that into account.

Zbik was a paper title holder too. I saw his "title winning" effort and IMO he won a questionable hometown decision in Germany against a guy not ranked in anyone's top 20. He has never fought anyone ranked in the top 20 and would lose to anybody ranked in the top 10. I actually thought he looked better in the Chavez fight than he's ever looked

I agree, Floyd Sr is much better than Jr. Jr is a spoiled brat who smacks woman and burns money while not paying his taxes. I also agree that he is soft and wasted his talent "making it rain on these hookers".

No wonder he doesnt train him, he is ashamed

Zbik wasn't a real champ and Chavez took the easiest path to a championship. And it doesn't matter if Chavez had an amateur background, when you win a wold title, you are supposed to fight the best. He and Ginger Boy are trying to soak and milk the circus act gravy train for as long as they can.

Yorgey's only loss is to Angulo, who has murdered plenty of decent boxers. Yorgey's not a bad fighter. But still, Hearns aint beating JCC, not a chance.

Ronald Hearns should find a different sport. He's not that good, hopefully he was able to make some decent cash bumming off his father's name.
