Yeah, that's because he's marketable and put's on exciting fights. He's a lesser version of Gatti as in how people will tune in to watch him whether he wins or loses. In general, people appreciate excitement more than technique.

I hate that whole Spartan warrior gimmick he does though.

It's not just the networks though. Gotta blame the elite level opposition that keeps agreeing to fight him too.

I'm pretty sure Khan, Bradley and maybe even the winner of Maidana/Guerrero have a more realistic chance of fighting the winner or Matthysse/Morales.

I'm a big Katsidis fan, but he's done **** all to warrant a fight against the winner of Morales - Matthysse

He has demonstrated that he is not on that level.
Agreed, but if he does decide to fight the loser, it would be EASY money. He couldn't beat Morales or Matthysse even if he tried.

Kats can to up to 140lbs. and come down to 135lbs. - just on the availability of opponents. He's one of the more exciting journymen/gate-keepers that's why he gets air time. He leaves everything in the ring everytime he fights. IMO, let him go up to 140lbs. and test the up-and-comers (i.e. Gesta). But the winner/loser of Mat vs. Mor, don't know about that.

In my opinion, Michael is a B+ fighter and only has two choices left in his career: 1) keep fighting C class fighters to continue making money (maybe until another B class fighter wins a title so he can challenge him), or 2) retire. He's repeatedly shown that he is just not capable of beating A class opposition and just gets his face turned into hamburger evrytime he tries. He's a true warrior; however, I feel he's prone to getting hurt at this stage in his career (especially with those two big beatdowns he took against Marquez and Guerrero; more against Guerrero, I would say).

                  Katsidis-Matthysse sounds fun.

For as long as it lasts.

A rematch with Kevin Mitchell would be perfect for him at this point.
