Yeah I know he's a righty. I said it. I'm just saying that the dude is a lefty wannabe. He says in different interviews that he's a lefty, which is bullish, and in others that he's a righty. The guy doesn't have a strong left cross. he almost uses his right "jab" as a cross and bombs away with the right hook. He never uses his left hand other then in combinations. Ortiz balance is hugely effected by standing in a southpaw stance and thats one of the main reason he gets dropped in so many fights. One other side effect of being "converted" is that you have a dominant eye. Having a right dominated eye as a southpaw makes you more vulnerable to the right hand. https://<iframe width="425" height="...reen></iframe>

I wasn't arguing with you, I was just posting the video which lends support to what you were saying. I just watched the vid in another thread, and thought it was relavent.

HAHA dude Im on a paranoid ranting mood. Either way lets get back to the discussion. I honestly believe its very bad to convert. there are special kind of fighters that can pull it off with training from an early age. I think some converted fighters develop excellent combination punching to compensate for the lack of power from their weak hand (Marvin Hagler, ODLH). I wouldn't recommend it. You never really develop your rear hand if you don't really commit to it. (btw how do you embed youtube videos?)

Under the video, click the button that says share. Then there appears a url, under which there is a button that says embed. Click that button and an embed url appears.

Nonito spent a good portion of his childhood in the phillipines. Isn't it normal for them to be hatin AZZ nigg@s and force lefties to write with the right in developing and underdeveloped countries?

I post thisbecause I always had a su****ion that tyson was really left handed even though he had power in his right based on his movements, punch selection as well as his back muscles. I confirmed this when during the fight with steve zouski the commentator mentioned that tyson was converted to orthodox when he was actually left handed.

So here's my list, if you guys have any others feel free to add.

                Victor Ortiz (right handed)
                Orlando Canizales (left handed)
                Jorge Arce (left handed)
                Guillermo rigondeaux (right handed)
Manny Pacquiao (ambidexterous, but predominantly left handed)
                Marvin Hagler (right handed)
                Vasyl Lomachenko (right handed)
Oscar de la hoya (left handed)
Andre Ward (ambidexterous, predominantly left handed)
                Hector Camacho (right handed)
                Nonito Donaire (left handed)
                Joe frazier (left handed)
                Gary allen russell (right handed)
                Raushee Warren (right handed)
                Miguel Cotto (left handed)
                Winky Wright (right handed)
                Joshua Clottey (left handed)

Fighters who I believe were actually converted:
                Jose Napoles
                Ike quartey

On a side note, funny how so many people preach that to convert is a sin, and that those who convert never become any good, my list so far disproves that.
                devon alexander is right handed
