nahh. For the most part in that fight Mares outclassed him agbeko won about two clear rounds wheras mares won at least 6 clearly the rest were really close. Im a fan of both but Mares looked much superior, he just cant punch

I kinda liked Mares but after this fight not so much. He must've known it was low he was in that video 360 lbs balls or whatever. Russell Mora was clearly paid off or racist.
He disqualified Anthony Peterson on like 3-4 low blows in Rios vs Peterson fight and now in this fight he can't tell whats low or not come on homeboy landed 30 or more low blows. IBF should make immediate rematch with referee like Steve Smoger or Kenny Bayless.

Thank god,I just hope for justice and then a rematch to truly see who the better fighter is..It was hard to tell with all those energy sapping low blows who would have truly won that fight..I was shocked Agbeko still even had energy to fight Mares back..

No need for an official appeal, no need to send 10g's, no need for a panel. Let Mares stay with that W and keep that belt. Just do the right thing and order an immediate rematch. That's all that needs to be done.

I agree, even tho I would not mind if they took that lost off Agbeko's record..It was a clear cut cheat and he should not have to have that kinda lost on his record..

I donīt know, most low blows were landed when Agbeko was pushing Mares down trying to avoid body punishment. Anyway, close fight with at least one legit knock down is enough to give the fight to Mares... they do all this theatre just because they want a rematch.

ShoBox, HBO, ESPN should tell the sanctioning body that they will not air another IBF fight until a rematch is ordered. Better yet, tell Golden Boy no more Mare unless it's a rematch. This is an opportunity for broadcasters to help set things right.

The referee was either totally incompetent or bought off. I'm thinking the latter. Nobody at that level can be that bad. It was atrocious.

Let's see if Mare offers a rematch. A true champion wouldn't be satisfied with taking a belt this way. He'd want to fight the same guy and settle it without the controversy. But based on his post-fight interview, all blows were on the belt line. Not encouraging, this.
