I'm envisioning that Ortiz is at 164, and Mayweather is at 156.


Based on what you have seen from these guys recently, what do you predict as the WBC 30-day weights?

Wow.....I was off by ~seven pounds for both of them:

Mayweather at 149
Ortiz at 157.4

Yeah, primo.

It's a WBC rule. I have always tracked this number, because it is indicative of someone's true fighting weight under normal circumstances.

There are some instances where it is deceptive. For example, the Williams-Martinez fight. Paul was already in shape, and Sergio took the fight on short notice. So Sergio was much heavier.
