    Is fair still fair?

Before anyone acuses me of being anti-mexican or anything of that matter, i've had many posts praising mexican boxers, so much so that, even though my sig reads cuban boxers, I am colombian. I also have a mexican trifecta which includes number one Ricardo Lopez, and a number two Salvador Sanchez, and at 3 Juan Manuel Marquez.

Now back to my point. C'mon guys (all the defensive mexicans here), sure the ref is one to blame, but if you have ever fought or at the very least sparred, you know that more than 3 low blows on behalf of yourself are not accidental, when boxing you know where your hand goes, anybody who has ever fought here can concur. Now, with soo many low blows from Mares, do you guys condone that? Even if the ref hasn't stepped in to say anything, wouldyou guys accept that win as an honorable win? What if the fight had taken place in Madison Square Garden, and Agbeko got away with at least 30 low blows on you from round 1 through 12? Was awarded a KD when it was a clear lowblow. Slow motion reveals all. And even though the first KD was also suspect because agbeko was clearly on his way down already I would still award mares with the KD based on technicality (his hook landing at the time). Would you guys not feel infuriated at the outcome? Condeming the ref as well, hometown decision and so on and so forth? I respect any person regardless of race or nationality who honestly admits that yesterday was a robbery, travesty, whatever you may call it, and everyone who is defending mares simply because he's biased by cultural relationship would without a doubt sing a different tune if the takes were reversed. I guess nowadays fair isn't so fair.

Its ok for Hopkins, Mayweather, Cotto, Bradley to use illegal tactics but Mares accidentally hits low the whole fkken world is in a rage... people hate to see mexicans win the big fights, that why dlh was robbed against trinidad and castillo against mayweather.

Mexicans will always dominate this sport whether u motha ***ers like it or not!

Why respond in that manner when I clearly am a fan of mexican boxers, did you, read the post? I am not condeming mexican boxers, I am just upset at this specific fighter and this specific fight, c'mon guy, was that really necessary?

Edit: more than 30 low blows is accidental? Hmmmmm, I see. Fair is far regardless of race or nationality. You wouldve never seen sanchez, ricardo lopez, or juan manuel in that type of situation. So why would you insinuate im against mexicans? Just this particular fighter.

You really can't blame Mares for the low blows. The referee should have done his job right by catching the low blows and bringing it up to Mares attention. That's what they are there for but yes Mares should step up and give him the rematch like a true champion. Also, the world championship organizations should have a better way of selecting referees for championship fights with a no nonsense policy. This was shameful!!!
