Coming into the tournament as a dog against the tournament favorite, he dominated Kessler, Green, Abraham, and Bika; all high-ranked super middleweights. How can you say he's overrated when he came in as an underdog and is now favored to win? His odds have improved because he keeps winning.
I'm not a huge fan of watching the guys fights, but his skills really aren't in question imo. I'm picking him over Froch, even though I'm a huge Froch fan and want him to win.
Anyway sorry guys, I made this thread because I tought the average American overhypes Andre Ward. But now I know nobody knows him or gives a **** about him.
He doesnt have a fanbase so even my thread title makes no sense.

Ward and Froch have both came out of this Super Six Brilliantly (provided nothing terrible happens in the Final)
Im a big fan of both guys, i used to think of Froch as a bit of a joke but always liked him. Now the guys legit and has faced the best continuous line up i can recall a Brit facing! His Abraham win was a thing of Beauty
Ward was always talented but i questioned his desire after a slow burning career that he only just started facing real guys aka Miranda, then he jumps into this and beats the hell out of the division #1 and takes a Tough fight Voluntarily against Sakio Bika when he didnt need to aswell
Mayweather does that. Andre Ward doesnt do that. Stop living in that fantasy world.
Ward is no Mayweather and will never be
I ever said he was Mayweather, you can be a great fighter who systematacally breaks opponents down without being him. Have you by any chance heard of a fellow named Bernard Hopkins?
