Prime Peņalosa vs Mares

I'd go with Penalosa now, but it's easy to say that because his prime is completed and Mares' may not have even began yet. I do think Mares will EVENTUALLY be better, however.

more like they dodged him..he was stripped because he wanted to fight Lopez..the one that made Marquez quit..

That don't mean Penalosa would've done the same. he would have to have the nuts to get in the ring first with a real hall of famer not a Philippine one.
penalosa got stripped for hiding and not fighting his mando or something , instead he chose to hide some more by standing infront of Lopez who by the way just got ko'd by a bum in Salido.

most of his punches landed in the air and on Penalosa's gloves..bet you think williams won the lara fight didn't you..his record speaks for himself..all of his loses are controversial except the lopez fight..maybe not a first ballot HOF but he deserves to be a HOF in the future..,

no he hit him alot and a diffrence from the williams fight was that deleon was tagging him and that alot of punches landed on penolosas guard. he would go into a shell and deleon would tee off, But penalosa in no where near the hall of fame and wont be in the ballot
