mares is a cheating qeer scum bag.
MARES CAME OUT LOW BLOWING AGBEKO in the 1st round. A sick agbeko at that......this alone will TAKE YOUR LEGS UNDER YOU & EFECT your stamina & power for the rest of the fight.
they were totally on purpose. in the 11th when agbveko started r@ping mares mares threw one of the most viscous low blows known to man.
VIC will tell you that MARES IS A CHEATER. after vic vs mares vic made a vid accusing mares of being a HEARTLESS cheater who resorts to low blows when he's having his a** kicked.
couldn't be more true.Comment

Come on Walt you been drinking? Look, everyone on press row, the announcers all had Mares up early to midway through the fight, he was landing nice counters on King Kong.Gtfo cuauht. Bro, your boy pitty patted. Agbeko landed ALL the hard punches amd closed the show like a boss while facing all the adversity and getting his pelvis and balls beat down.
Amateur fight, yea maybe. Pro *** no.
Agbeko landed uppercuts lesft hooks and all kindsa rights.
As far as low blows being on purpose, the reason I say they weren't on purpose is because most were right on the belt line, two were clearly on the cup.Comment

People who say that Mares didn't throw intentional low blows must be on crack.
Seriously, if I can get away with stealing money from the bank every day and the cops not doing anything about it. So be it, I will steal from the bank every day.
Same with Mares, he thought about it and he knew he got away with a lot of low blows since freaking Round 1 to Round 6. So, why stop? The referee wasn't doing anything. So, of course, the bastard is throwing intentional low blows by Round 7 to Round 12. And seriously messed up thing about it he was hitting harder with his low blows as the Rounds got closer to Round 12. It finally caused Agbeko enough pain to crumple down twice in the later rounds.Comment

a point deduction on mares would have affected his game and the outcome of the fight. of course the low blows also took its toll on agbeko. but even that, agbeko still finished the fight stronger and mares looked like the loser with his bruised face.
it was indeed a good performance by mares but it can't be denied it was aided by low blows and de****able officiating by the ref.
in a clean fight and fair officiating, agbeko wins for me and a rematch should be in order.Comment

You can talk like a little kid, that's fine this place is full of idiots like you.People who say that Mares didn't throw intentional low blows must be on crack.

If you want to talk truth, Al Bernstein and crew were all saying they didn't feel they were on purpose. There's no reason for Mares to come out and purposely throw low blows, that would be insane to even think about that.
Low blows that are thrown on purpose are thrown usually by fighters that are behind in a fight or seriously hurt. Mares isn't some chump that needs to hit Agbeko low to have a chance, let's be real here.
He threw them low and I agree he should have had 2 pts at least taken from him but to say he came out and cheated is BS. 99% were on the belt line, if he MEANT to throw them low, then he can't even do that right....lolComment

I believe Mares' low blows were intentional, but even if they weren't, it just shows us that he is rather is careless. I agree that Agbeko was holding behind the head, but Mares does have a history of low blows. Tonight was just more flagrant than usual.
But at the end of the day, the ref should be the one held accountable. Fighters are fighters and sometimes their instinct to survive, while trying to inflict damage on their opponent throws caution into the wind and cheap shots are bound to happen.
It's up to the ref to keep them in check.Comment

Didn't Mares corner told him to watch it on the low blows. But he still did(intentional or not). But the blame goes on the ref, many low blows and warnings, and still no point deduction.
If it was the other way around, Agbeko making the low blows, this would be a hate thread on Agbeko.Comment
