Bottomline is that Famoso had to win more convincingly to get the
nods of all the judges. Bobby may not have won convincingly, but you need to ask yourself if Famoso won overwhelmingly. A lot of people think so but you need to take a look at some rounds which were too close to call. Famoso tried to win a lot of the rounds in the last 10 seconds. But that doesn't cut it all the time.

Actually if he had gotten the right decision he would have gained plenty. You know the pacquiao name weighs a lot, this could have set up a bigger pay day against Manny pacquiao. Of course he woulda lost that one but the money is what he was after.

Its like beating chavez jr. If Chavez Jr loooses anytime soon you know people are gonna be whatt? and they are going to be looking at the person that beat him because of the Chavez name it weighs a lot.

Anyway i posted this article not really because of the fight, but because it shows how much heart Famoso has. The man is the biggest class act in the sport.

I agree with you on Famoso having a big heart. It always is hard to lose after giving it your all. He definitely deserves a rematch.

the decision reminded me of Mayweather-Castillo 1, the early-lead was simply insurmountable & no body-punching attack will earn you the last 7-8 rounds, boxing just doesn't work like that, Famoso has nobody to blame but himself, he should have gone for the KO plain & simple
          nicely said, SacTown11.

Famoso should of won. Only reason why he lost was because of the Pac name...

I think it's sad how boxing is turning into this. Honestly, how many gift or robbery decisions have happened this year. The judging HAS to be better, boxing needs to be like football where they get most things right, we can't have gift decisions like this anymore, it's ruining the sport.

I think its lame to blame the Pacquiao name on the victory.
We never said that the Marquez name played a role when JM Marquez got a draw with his fight with Manny. Plain and simple: Famoso did not do enough to get the win.

Yes he did. Forget your nationality for a second. FAMOSO WON! It was clear after the 4th round he took control and outlanded and outhustled Pac.

You have to take a closer look at each round. Some of the rounds from the 4th were quite close. Could have gone either way.

...and i would never sourg**** on this loss, if i was a hernandez fan...a win is a win and he is better off looking for a rematch...b-pac is more than willing to give hernandez a rematch to prove that his win wasn't a fluke, unlike jmm who is contented on pricing himself out of his chance to redeem himslef. if you think about, jmm getting a draw against pacman was even infamous because the judge conceded that he made an error when he scored the first round 10-7 when it should have been 10-6 after he was down three times on the canvass.

finally, i would again echo some people's observation here that the fight WASN'T A ROBBERY! it was a close fight that could go either way. however, they saw b-pac doing more to earn the decision. i don't think it was so hard to comprehend, wasn't it?

Take off those rose-colored glasses. Famoso CLEARLY won this fight. Only, and ONLY a fool would say otherwise. Even Freddie Roach, Pac's trainer said he lost, but your still disagreeing. Famoso is a class fighter, and he beat a tough journeyman filipino fighter in pac. Is that SO hard to understand? Look at the facts, I haven't looked at the compubox stats but I guarantee Famoso threw and landed more punches then Pac in at least 6 rounds.
