Stallone said on KOTV that they were getting a professional boxer as his opponent for Rocky 6. I heard he owns a restaurant and Adrian has died and hes lonely so he starts fighting again which gets the media talking about a title shot, he'll fight the champ then win title! looks predictable but I think it'll be an alright film.

Forget that **** about adrian dying! wtf they trying to do make this a tear jerker? come on man I almost cryed when mickey died!**** was said I was only 8 when i saw that. they better not be killing adrian off thats bull**** man adrian is rocks power!

The only thing I disliked about Rocky III is that suddendly decided to make Mickey a ***. Which totally changes his complexion as a character. He was clearly a tough Irish Catholic Philedelphia guy in the first 2 films.

They need to make the movie good. IMO they should learn from 4's success and have someone die in the ring that Rocky loved. then have rocky avenge the guy. maybe some guy rocky is training dies to the champ or w/e and then rock fights him. See that's perfect because it allows for many other scenes to be thrown in i.e. the car scene in Rocky 4 where he reminisces about his friend dying running on the beach with him and etc. that is good filmmaking man.

i really hope they dont do what they did with million dollar baby and have the main char die at the end, god that was so gay.

deaths make combat sport films much more intriging especially if they take place in the ring and are avenged, that is just too cool.

You are 100 percent correct my good man. The last I heard he's had the script forever and no production company will touch it. Cant say that I blame them. There is no chance that Rocky 6 will make money...none. However Im not saying I wouldn't rent it when it comes out on video. Hell I might even buy it from the 5.50 bin at wal-mart to complete my box set.

Not true, EVERYBODY will rush theatres when they here the word Rocky, it doesn't matter how it is, people will be there.

The first "Rocky"...is a truly great film. Not just a great boxing movie, either. None of the follow-ups have done it any justice.

This sixth one will truly blow, guaranteed.



IWatch & Scully....

Julian Solis was a very good, tough, skilled fighter. He had the misfortune of having to meet Joltin' Jeff Chandler twice, during each others' prime. Jeff was one of the best & most complete fighters of the 80's. Their second fight eneded when Chandler threw a classic one-two in the seventh round....knocking Solis semi-conscious.

I wouldn't mind seeing it but the story line sounds as gay and boring as part 5! I'm sure Sly can some up with something better.
