2 of my 3 favorite active fighters and to me they have several similarities. Both are just dominant, both have styles that highlight their dominance and arent necessarily flashy, but incredibly impressive to boxing fans. Both have arch rivals who are ducking bit(*&S but Wlad finally got to his and beat him. Both come from boxing families and have a great amateur pedigree. Pretty much if youre a fan of dominant, proficient boxing I think you should be a fan of each. They both also make a ton of money, have a ton of confidence in and out of the ring and both do things pretty much on their own terms.
Why Arent More Floyd Fans also Wlad Fans and Vice Versa?

on this board, it would seem like many of the most vocal floyd fans tend to be somewhat racist, and likewise with the klitschko fans that are most vocal.
weird.
I'm a big fan of both the K brothers and floyd. But then again, i don't consider myself a ******ed racist.Comment

Bad comparision. If Floyd was the biggest, strongest guy in the ring with one punch KO power in both hands and fought like a fairy he wouldnt have many fans.Comment

Glad Ceilings touched on it, it's simple, Wlad needs to widen his arsenal in the ring, sometimes it gets way too repetitive. It works, he's dominant, but show us more, with Wlad is like watching a repeat over and over. With Floyd, you see an extremely versatile fighter who approaches his opponents differently every time up, even every 2-3 rounds Floyd is changing it up.Comment

His Ducking style...........seems overly repetitive or redundant to true boxing fans though..................just sayingGlad Ceilings touched on it, it's simple, Wlad needs to widen his arsenal in the ring, sometimes it gets way too repetitive. Very True!
To be fair though, sometimes Floyd is much better skilled fighter in the ring and totally has his opponent outclassed, yet still chooses to play pity pat and love tap his way to a decision.Last edited by Deevel916; 08-12-2011, 08:04 PM.Comment
