with all due respect but Hops "mind games" are so transparent and juvnile as can be...clearly he has been led to believe he is master of mind games or something but, COME ON, for me this is clearly a desperate attempt at not having Chad box him with movement and skills and angles and make him look his age...he wants his only real chance at clear victory, that being a toe to toe brawl...

Dawson is a good boxer, but that "Bad" has nothing to do with his boxing style. He's a passive fighter, who hate's to go into a war. Hearns, Hagler, those are the type of boxers that i think of for a nickname like "Bad". "Sweet" would be more appropriate for a man i saw against Pascal and Diaconu. Hopkins is having fun with that, you must admit that he's smart ! He did the same with Pascal, and it worked. Pascal was mad at Hopkins and it showed in the ring, he was not fighting his best, in fact, i never saw him fight so badly. Hopkins will win that fight if Dawson don't stick to the fight plan. Dawson is that type of boxer who is lost when he must adjust to a fighter during a fight : Pascal vs Dawson.

The guy is just boring, sans the Adamek, Gardener, and first fight with Glen Johnson. He has the physical tools to do more in his fights than he does. It's frustrating to watch sometimes.

Its a PITIFUL attempt by Hopkins to try and "lure" Chad into a fight that would give Hops his only chance of any type of success. If they BOX then its a wrap. Why doesnt Hopkins say, "Come on Chad, let's match SKILLS. No low blows, no dirty fighting, no complaining. Let's box 12 rounds and see who has the better skills, who hits who with more clean shots."
