    Cotto vs Margarito 2 fight details

    Nobody get upset as I just want to know most up to date information. What I do know the fight is DEC 3 on PPV at madison square garden promoted by Top rank for the 154 pound title. What I don't know is when tickets go on sale, hbo or showtime and if it will have any type of hype buildup like a 24/7 or fight camp? Have they anwsered these last 3 questions left

      Top Rank hasn't made a deal with HBO or Showtime yet, but Showtime apparently has first dibs because they televised Cotto's last PPV. The tickets don't go on sale until September.

          it's very likely to be showtime. also because he gave pac-marquez to HBO, to even it out a bit /sorta/.
          so what happened to the catchweight then?

              Even though showtime is not as good as hbo it will give this fight a fightcamp as hbo couldn't afford to do three 24/7 in 3 months. I can't wait to buy tickets in september

                  Well, apparently the deal Arum put forth for HBO was to televise both Pac vs Marquez and Cotto vs Marg. I'm not sure whether or not there will be a 24/7 though (which IMO I think they should). Tickets go on sale in Sept I believe and press tours begin then as well.

                      The catchweight was a lie, the fight is at full 154 pounds!

                          From what I seen on this site and twitter the ticket prices will be 600,400,300,200100 and 50. Tickets will go on sale sometime in September and so far Wolak and Vasquez vs. Arce will be on the undercard.
