What do you guys think of a structured PPV system?

Where there are maybe 3-4 pay per views a year...the same months every year (Jan, April, August, Nov)

We we would get major fights on free TV or HBO/SHO...but they are fights to setup major showdowns (meaningful ones) on PPV...so then I am talking PPVs where we may see 3-4 marquee fights...I am talking 3-4 MAIN EVENT type fights like a Vitali vs Brewster, Floyd vs Hatton, Taylor vs Winky...etc..

I know this will never happen, but this would make PPVs meaningful and people would have all the more reason to order them

I agree. Something like that would be great for boxing.

It's expensive dishing out money for a PPV a couple times a year. Especially when here its 50 bucks for a PPV and my cable costs that a MONTH. After the PPV is over I usually feel like **** knowing I just payed 50 bucks for 4 hours of boxing that sometimes isn't that uneventel.

For example, Tarver - Jones 3 I payed for a main event that had absolutely no meaning, and i saw Jones disgrace the boxing community.

It will if all us boxing junkies stop buying the ****! Look in your history books, boycotts work.
